Job Summary
The School Nutrition Payroll Manager will oversee payroll and accounting functions for the school nutrition program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and cost reports, issuing purchase orders, submitting monthly finance statements to the Board, assisting with benefits and workers’ comp processes, handling USDA meal-reimbursement claims, maintaining filing systems, supporting new employee orientation, preparing regulatory reports, reconciling accounts payable, processing payroll for nutrition staff, and performing year-end close tasks. Preferred qualifications include CCFO program completion, collaborative experience with finance and school nutrition, strong written and verbal communication, ability to handle confidential information, and a valid driver’s license with background check clearance. The role is evaluated under the Board’s personnel policies with a 12-month term and is located in Brownsville, TN.
