Job Summary
Directly supervise the food service program in one or more schools, overseeing meal preparation, serving, and staff operations. Manage fiscal duties including collecting, auditing, and depositing lunch balances while maintaining accurate financial reports and payroll records. Coordinate purchasing, storage, and inventory of food and supplies, ensuring adequate stock and proper sanitation standards with Grade A ratings. Enforce Free and Reduced pricing policies, maintain rosters, and handle student data transfers. Communicate with parents, faculty, and the community regarding account balances, program updates, and nutrition education initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the preparation of food in quantity lots

- Skilled in projecting amounts of food to be prepared based on previous school history and to order sufficient quantities of necessary
- Skilled in maintaining complete and accurate records and in developing simple reports from those records
