Job Summary
School Nutrition Manager at Foard High School overseeing the school food service program under general supervision. Directly supervises cafeteria staff, reports to the Child Nutrition Director and/or school principal, and coordinates food production, service, inventory, sanitation, safety, and public relations. Responsibilities include scheduling, menu adherence with substitutions, purchasing and storage, equipment oversight, staff training and evaluation, timekeeping, reporting for free/reduced/full-price meals, and maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- three years of experience in food service, or two years of formal training in food service and one year of experience in food service
- ServSafe Certification (current)
