Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, supervise and participate in the preparation and serving of food in a school cafeteria. Ensure consistency in food preparation and service to students and staff; supervise staff; prepare equipment for food preparation; monitor refrigeration; order supplies; maintain food service records and USDA inventory; prepare cash deposits and financial reports; coordinate with school staff and support personnel; train personnel in operational procedures; attend meetings and inservice training; maintain confidentiality; perform related duties as required. Requires high school diploma or GED, sanitation certification, manager-training completion, and considerable experience in school food services. Location: Daleville, VA.
