Job Summary
Prepare, serve, and store food while maintaining and cleaning all food service areas. Operate commercial equipment and manage cashiering duties, ensuring accurate cash handling and inventory control. Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols, including HACCP training, to promote a positive cafeteria image. Maintain up-to-date production records and assist in quality food production under direct supervision. Perform moderate to heavy physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and moving equipment throughout the facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Be able to communicate well with adults and children
- Possesses excellent customer service
- Possesses a willingness to learn and implement new techniques
- Knowledgeable of nutrition education information
- Employee is expected to possess interpersonal relationship skills necessary to maintain a harmonious work environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to withstand heat and standing for long periods of time
