School Nutrition Assistant 4 hr / Bus Driver at Maiden High School

Assist the School Nutrition Manager in overseeing kitchen operations to ensure nutritious meals for students, including food preparation, serving, cashiering, sanitation, inventory, and compliance with NSLP and USDA requirements. May function as cook, cashier, server, or helper on a rotation basis and support staff development. For the Bus Driver role, drive buses to destinations, monitor students, follow district procedures, and maintain safety and record-keeping. Requires ability to operate kitchen equipment, manage records, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, with a valid state-issued commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and DOT medical/Drug screening requirements. Hours are part-time with potential for variability; reports to the School Nutrition Manager.
