SN Assistant responsibilities include preparing, cooking and serving meals, ensuring NSLP compliance and accuracy of meal records, assisting in kitchen staff development, and maintaining food safety standards; Bus Driver responsibilities include driving school routes safely, monitor students, adhere to district procedures, and ensure student safety during transport. Both roles require ability to perform sanitation, inventory, and customer-service tasks, operate a computer for ordering and record-keeping, and maintain accurate reports and logs. The position is part-time at Arndt Middle School in Newton, NC, with duties spanning kitchen operations, meal service, cashiering, and transportation support, under supervision of the School Nutrition Manager and/or transportation leadership. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and NC-specific driver qualifications, along with related health and safety training and ability to meet physical demands.
