Job Summary
Provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Menlo School community by rendering first aid, managing student medical records in Magnus Health, and administering medications per state regulations. Serve as the primary campus First Responder during emergencies and coordinate temporary academic and athletic accommodations for students with acute or chronic conditions. Lead the First Aid team during incidents, manage on-site clinical oversight for off-campus retreats including the 6th-grade trip, and provide distance medical guidance for field activities. Collaborate with faculty, security, and HR to ensure medical compliance and student safety across Middle and Upper School divisions. Maintain a valid California RN license and experience with electronic health record databases.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- At minimum two years of professional nursing experience
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Competency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health record databases
- Strong quantitative and qualitative assessment skills
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to operate a personal vehicle or a school-issued vehicle to safely transport sick or injured students from off-campus locations
Desired Qualifications
- A background in school nursing, pediatrics, urgent care, or emergency medicine
- Experience with Magnus Health and Knightbook platforms
