School Nurse (RN)

School Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing services, health education, care coordination, emergency response, and consultation to students, families, and staff in a K-12 setting. Responsibilities include supervising health clerks and designated personnel, collaborating with healthcare providers and families, ensuring continuity of care across campuses, performing nursing assessments and triage, developing and monitoring Individual Health Care Action Plans (HCAPs) and supporting student accommodations through IEP and Section 504, delegating health-related tasks under the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, maintaining health records and immunization compliance, and serving on multidisciplinary teams to support student health and well-being. Requires BSN, Colorado RN license, CPR/First Aid, and Special Services Provider License (or ability to obtain). The role is full-time with a 190-day contract for the 2026-2027 school year at University Schools Middle School in Greeley, CO, with a comprehensive benefits package and school-year schedule.
