School Nurse (RN) - PM Shift

Assess and manage physical, emotional, and social needs of boarding and day students by providing primary, acute, and chronic nursing care. Independently triage, evaluate, and treat illnesses and injuries while administering prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with facility protocols. Develop and maintain current health care plans, document all care in the electronic health record, and ensure compliance with state mandates for immunizations and physical examinations. Respond to campus health emergencies, coordinate transportation for off-campus appointments, and provide health education and counseling to students, parents, and staff. Perform urine screenings, assist with vaccine clinics, and serve as a mandated reporter for suspected abuse or neglect.
