Job Summary
Conduct health screenings, assessments, and medication administration while managing immunization records and communicable disease protocols. Provide first aid, address student injuries, and develop nursing care plans across designated school zones. Offer health counseling to students, parents, and staff; teach first aid procedures; and collaborate with physicians and community agencies to ensure continuity of care. Participate in disaster drills, safety assessments, and special event coverage. Maintain compliance with the Missouri Nursing Practice Act and document essential health information. Requires Missouri RN or LPN license, current CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and 5 days/week in-person schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Registered Nurse
- Graduation from an accredited Associate's degree program in Nursing (ADN)
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Experience in a school or medical setting
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands and fingers, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 25 pounds, and kneel on the floor
- Must be able to walk stairs and assist in lifting students in emergencies
- In person; 7.5 hours per day; 5 days/week; 205 days schedule
