Job Summary
This School Nurse role provides direct health services to students to reduce health-related barriers to learning and promote student and staff wellness. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of health needs; serving as the link between physicians, families, and community agencies to ensure access to healthcare; delivering health-related instruction, counseling, and guidance; upholding the Nurse Practice Act and related regulations; and performing duties to support the Columbia Public School District’s mission. The ideal candidate will hold Missouri RN licensure with CPR/AED certification and have at least two years of experience; BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing/ Missouri registered professional nurse license; current certification in CPR/AED; At least two (2) years’ of experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Science Nursing
