Job Summary
School Nurse in Reynoldsburg City Schools overseeing planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of school health services to support student attendance and achievement; acts as primary responder for medical emergencies; administers medications; conducts vision/hearing screenings; maintains immunization records; develops Healthcare Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and 504 Plans; collaborates with families and school staff; provides medical oversight for Building Health Aides; ensures HIPAA/FERPA-compliant documentation; adheres to ODH and state guidelines; requires coordination with external health resources and ongoing staff education on student health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Valid RN license in the State of Ohio
- Valid Ohio Pupil Services License (School Nurse) issued by Ohio Department of Education & Workforce
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Experience with pediatric populations or in a school health setting
