Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders while overseeing school health office triage, injury response, and wellness checks. Monitor student health conditions, respond to emergency situations, and communicate with parents, school staff, and agency supervisors regarding student care. Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS DOH guidelines, ensuring adherence to all public health protocols and nursing standards. This structured Monday–Friday schedule includes no nights or weekends, with competitive pay, shift differentials, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, public health, or school-based roles
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis
