Job Summary
Assess student health issues, develop nursing care plans, and provide care to ill, injured, or disabled students while managing infection control programs. Maintain precise medical records, monitor patient conditions, and adjust treatment plans based on responses. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care, administer immunizations, and coordinate athletic physicals. Supervise less experienced staff and refer students to specialized resources. Conduct mandated screenings including vision, hearing, and scoliosis assessments. Ensure regular attendance and report absences to supervisors. Work full-time, 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday with 10% to 20% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Two to four years of related experience
- Proficient in relevant technology
- Valid Arkansas State Board of Nursing license as a Registered Nurse
- Must be timely
- Excellent oral and written skills
