Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic conditions, including medication administration, wound care, and catheterization. Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to medical emergencies while maintaining accurate, confidential health records. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans and support mental well-being as part of a multidisciplinary team. Educate families and staff on disease prevention and chronic condition management. This onsite role begins September 2026 at an Early Learning Center in West Richland, WA, for the 26/27 school year. E-Therapy connects schools with licensed clinicians to deliver accessible, impactful mental health and clinical solutions nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Nursing license in WA state
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
- Previous experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
