Job Summary
Lead district-wide school health services and nursing program administration; provide clinical leadership during medical emergencies; oversee immunization programs and compliance with state regulations; supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs; manage grants and budgeting; coordinate with Building Principals, Transportation, and Superintendent’s Office to resolve barriers to student health and participation; develop and implement IHCPs and support SPED evaluations; ensure data reporting to MDPH and maintain regulatory compliance; oversee onboarding and professional development for nursing staff; collaborate on health initiatives, public health strategies, and community partnerships to promote student wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field (Nursing Administration, Health Care Administration)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Massachusetts; DESE School Nurse Certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in school/pediatric setting with leadership capacity over district-wide nursing operations and immunization programs
