Job Summary
Provide direct nursing services to students and staff across the district in grades PreK-12, including building-based coverage and triage situations. Assist staff with mandated health screenings, complete data entry for student office visits, and attend 504/IEP team meetings as needed. Collaborate with district nurses on policy development and professional development regarding student wellness. This part-time 0.4 FTE role involves approximately 14-16 hours per week, with the exact schedule coordinated with the Director of Student Services and Lead Nurse. New educators must attend a two-day orientation before the first day on September 1, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license in Professional Support Personnel: School Nurse (All Levels)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Desired Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
- Master's degree preferred
