Job Summary
The Early Learning Center Nurse is responsible for all health and welfare issues for students aged six weeks to five years, including health screenings, medication administration, medical action plans, and health documentation. Responsibilities include monitoring immunizations and health data, providing direct nursing care, maintaining secure records, delivering staff and family education, and coordinating wrap-around services with community resources (e.g., WIC, specialists). Requires an Associate's degree in nursing, DC RN license, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and COVID-19 vaccination proof; BSN preferred. Located in the ELC on Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave SE, Washington, DC, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Salary range: $72,800–$76,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the District of Columbia
