Job Summary
Provide health and wellness services including physical and developmental assessments, administer first aid, and conduct health screenings for students and staff. Maintain accurate medical records, dispense medication per physician instructions, and refer students to appropriate resources. Perform lice checks, coordinate with community agencies, and make home visits as required. Offer professional development training to faculty and staff regarding health and wellness. Work 7.5 hours per day for 190 days at $22.80 per hour. Requires a valid Kentucky nursing license and BSN or ADN.
Required Qualifications
- RN Position
- Associate or Bachelor
- School Nurse Experience Preferred
- Demonstrate a commitment to a healthy and safe environment
- Have the ability to establish a good rapport within the professional community, parents, and students
- Maintain a valid Nursing License in the State of KY without restrictions
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation as a Licensed Registered Nurse and one year comprehensive nursing experience
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience
