School Nurse - Charlottesville High School (2026-27 School Year)

Provide school health services by implementing the school health program, maintaining student health records, administering medications with parental permission and physician orders, training staff to administer medications, maintaining the school clinic and medications securely, conducting health screenings, referring health concerns to appropriate professionals, collaborating with public health and other agencies, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies (including IDEA and privacy). Maintain electronic health data in the Student Information System and support school safety through health-related procedures, crisis response, and health counseling. The role requires clinical nursing judgment, ability to work with students and staff, and occasional supervision of unlicensed personnel within a school setting.
