School Nurse at Clearwater Creek Elementary School 26-27

Provide direct nursing services to students and staff to maximize health, wellness, and safety in the school community and to strengthen and facilitate the educational process by removing health-related barriers to learning; manage health room visits, administer physician-ordered medications, and develop/implement Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) integrated with IEP/Section 504 plans; identify health needs and coordinate access to health services, while educating on healthy lifestyles and preventive self-care; collaborate with the building interdisciplinary team to support students’ readiness to learn and ensure compliance with immunization mandates and health policies; maintain individual health records and communicate health practices to students and families; require RN licensure in KS and a minimum of one year clinical RN experience, with Basic Life Support certification and proficiency in health information and technology.
