Job Summary
Provide support in a high school clinic under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Performs basic first aid, assists with maintaining health records and clinic duties, assists with immunization records, documents clinic visits, and administers medication per school policy. Works to organize clinics, supports documentation procedures, and helps train aides in clinic operations. Strong emphasis on health assistance for students, health documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure student health services are delivered effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- experience in providing nurse assistant services
- knowledge of basic health practices
- knowledge of basic computer skills
- ability to deal effectively with students requiring health assistance
- effective communication (oral and written)
- ability to work cooperatively with others
