Job Summary
Check temperatures, render limited first aid, and assist with screening procedures in an elementary school clinic under the Registered Nurse's direction. Administer medication per School District policy and document clinic visits and care provided daily. Assist with maintenance of immunization records, inform officials of deficits, and help organize clinic documentation procedures. Work 3.75 hours daily for 195 days at a rate of $22.47 to $23.87, reporting to the Principal. This role supports health service programs within the district's schools.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- Experience in providing nurse assistant services
- Knowledge of basic health practices
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to deal effectively with students requiring health assistance
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
