School Nurse (2300)

Provide school health services to students and serve as a liaison between the school, the medical community, and other agencies involved in student welfare. Deliver safe care to students with special health care needs, utilizing clinical skills acquired in hospital, community health, or pediatric clinic settings. Communicate professionally with administration, faculty, parents, and students while documenting all health services rendered accurately and timely. Maintain current CPR certification and hold an active Alabama nursing license (ADN, BSN, or LPN). Work a nine-month contract covering 187 days.
