Job Summary
Manage daily meal service onsite at partner schools, ensuring fresh lunches are distributed to students and the checkout process runs smoothly. Provide excellent customer service by interacting warmly with children, school staff, and parents while keeping food displays stocked and tidy. Maintain a positive attitude and take ownership of your role to foster a welcoming lunchtime experience. This floating position in Atlanta requires 2–3 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with availability for 3–6 hours weekly. You must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a smartphone for communication, along with a willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within 14 days.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting healthy food for kids
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain within first 14 days of employment)
- Ability to clear a pre-employment background check and earn additional certifications if required by the school
- A smartphone for job-related communication
- A valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Availability for 2–3 hours per shift (typically 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM), Monday through Friday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs without assistance
