Job Summary
Support special education leaders and teachers in data-based decision making to close the achievement gap; provide MTSS implementation support; build capacity for data-based decision making across multiple levels; design and deliver professional learning on universal instruction; translate research-based strategies into practice through collaboration and coaching; develop positive learning environments and sustain effective communication with school and Agency staff; travel between schools to deliver on-site, in-person services; leverage technology to enhance teaching and learning; foster relationships with LEA/AEA staff and educational partners to align with Iowa Code and agency goals; participate in and lead professional development programs and teams; maintain confidentiality of student, family, school and employee data; support state initiatives and agency goals; demonstrate reliability, organization, and continuous improvement in professional practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Iowa Teaching License with appropriate content area endorsement(s)
