Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed to support school-based health services; responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, performing nursing procedures (catheterization, enteral tube feeding/medication, seizure care), routine diagnostics (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), EKGs and diabetic management, assisting with treatment preparation, maintaining patient charts, and ensuring infection control and OSHA compliance. Will observe and report patient conditions to physicians or nurse practitioners and school health supervisors, instruct patients on sample collection, and perform CPR/AED as needed. Regular on-site work schedule Monday–Friday from 8am to 3pm at locations in Panama City Beach, FL. Requires completion of a state-approved LPN program and NCLEX-PN licensure in Florida; prior healthcare experience is often preferred.
