Job Summary
Direct and coordinate the Coordinated School Health (CSH) program district-wide to improve student health and capacity to learn, adhering to state policies and engaging families, communities, and schools; establish a School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) and healthy school teams across eight components; collaborate with community healthcare professionals to ensure early intervention and proper referrals; requires a bachelors degree in education, nursing, health services administration, social services, psychology or mental health services, or nutrition, plus strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; on-site work at schools; 260-day schedule; reports to the Deputy Director of Student Services; exempt under FLSA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in education, nursing, health services administration, social services, psychology or mental health services, or nutrition
- documented experience supervising or implementing health programs to comply with TN State Board Policy 4.204
- strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- meets health and physical requirements
