School Health Aide

Provide basic authorized first aid, triage daily student health room visits, and manage isolation protocols for communicable diseases. Administer and precisely document prescribed daily and emergency student medications, including epinephrine and glucagon injections, in strict compliance with Oregon legislative requirements. Execute delegated health care tasks for medically fragile students under the clinical oversight of the District Registered Nurse while maintaining meticulous electronic health records and state-mandated immunization logs. Assist in organizing annual mandated health screenings for vision, dental, and head lice checks. Act as the central point of contact for the health room, communicating status changes to parents and administrators while strictly maintaining student confidentiality. Requires current First Aid and CPR/AED certification, valid Oregon background clearance, and physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
