School Food Service Worker - FG 26/27

Perform routine food preparation tasks, such as cutting up fruits and vegetables, making and wrapping sandwiches and salads; set up and stock work areas with ingredients and equipment; assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria; operate standard kitchen equipment and ensure meals meet federal guidelines; monitor HACCP procedures and sanitation logs; serve students and staff in a cheerful, respectful manner; communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and community; work as part of a team in a school cafeteria setting; maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in food service areas; travel between campuses may be required and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary; emphasis on safety, customer service, and adherence to health and nutrition guidelines; extensive focus on food handling, equipment operation, and compliance with health department requirements.
