Job Summary
Directs the school food service program in the Boynton Beach/Lake Worth area, overseeing daily operations, menu planning in accordance with USDA and district guidelines, and vendor-ordered meals. Leads kitchen staff, maintains inventory, ensures food safety, completes required reports, and supports professional development and training. Requires ServSafe certification and cooking experience; proficiency in Excel and Word; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; reliable transportation with travel for trainings; and early-morning availability. Background check level 2 is required. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Prior school food service management experience
- NSLP experience preferred
- ServSafe certification
- Cooking experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work early mornings
- Willingness to travel for trainings
- Pass level 2 background check
