Job Summary
Financial Assistant supports administration in maintaining financial operations, ensuring revenues and expenses align with budget, and provides financial data support across the SAU 70 center. Responsibilities include overseeing daily fiscal operations (accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, program revenue), budget development and monthly reconciliation, managing student data and scheduling data, generating reports, and collaborating with the principal and business office to ensure compliance and efficient office operations. The role requires handling confidential information, applying standard bookkeeping principles, and providing training and assistance to staff on financial software and processes. This is a full-time, year-round position with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on accurate, timely financial management within a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent
- Two to Four (2-4) years of clerical / office experience preferred.
