Job Summary
The Director of Operations oversees all non-instructional operational aspects in a K-12 School District, managing facilities, maintenance, custodial services, grounds, safety, and transportation. This leadership role requires significant experience in facilities management and a strong understanding of safety compliance, along with proven ability to manage budgets and lead teams effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field
- (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a K-12 or similar public institutional environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards
- Valid CDL with a Bus Driving Permit
- Relevant certifications (Pesticide Applicator License, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of specific trade or trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing)
