Job Summary
Lead the School Dining team by managing all functions of the food service department, directing and training staff, ensuring culinary, safety, and sanitation standards, and budgeting for the department. Collaborate with the district manager on technical and administrative dining service aspects and address customer service needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of experience coordinating multiple unit food service operations
- Previous experience with industrial cooking
- Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives
- The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction
- Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certification
