Job Summary
Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting. Empty trash and recycling bins, maintain sanitary restrooms, and set up or break down furniture for events. Monitor and report maintenance issues, complete minor repairs like replacing light bulbs, and assist with snow removal or grounds keeping. Secure the building at the end of each shift while following all health, safety, and chemical-handling protocols. This seasonal position for the 2026-2027 school year requires evening shifts from 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM at local Frisco schools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and scrubbers
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and products
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive tasks
- Must pass required background checks and clearances
