Job Summary
Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks within assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines, including dust mopping, damp mopping floors in classrooms and common spaces, and sanitizing bathrooms. Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests while following infection control and universal precautions. Use protective gear during all functions and report equipment or product needs to supervisors. Complete cleaning assignments on schedule and maintain a sanitary environment. This role operates Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial/janitorial experience in a school setting
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently
- Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training
- Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers
- Must provide a criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
