Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors throughout the facility. Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal, while ensuring grounds, entrances, and walkways remain clean, clear, and hazard-free. Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture for school events, perform minor building maintenance, and report larger repair needs to administration. Maintain and restock janitorial supplies and equipment as needed. Prior custodial experience is preferred, along with the ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment and use chemicals. The role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A background check is required in accordance with school safety standards.
