Job Summary

As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in community safety by ensuring children and other members of the community safely cross the road at a designated point between specified times. Hours are mainly 08:20am to 09:15am and 2:50pm to 3:25pm. No formal qualifications are necessary. Training in safe crossing procedures is provided, and PVG scheme membership will be required. The post is permanent, part-time (38 weeks per year) at Tayport Primary School, with uniform provided and access to benefits including the Scottish Local Government Living Wage (£13.64/hour) for shift work. Applicants must attend an Induction Training Day and submit a Supporting Statement as part of the application.
