School Crossing Patrol Officer

As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring children and other members of the community cross the road safely at a designated point between specified times. Attendance is required daily at school opening and closing times in all weather conditions, including short-notice attendances for unscheduled school closures. The role involves the patrol point at Limekilns Primary School with hours mainly from 08:20–09:15 and 14:50–15:25, on a permanent, part-time, 38-week contract, with pro-rata salary and annualised pay. Training in safe crossing procedures is provided, and PVG scheme membership is required prior to appointment.
