Job Summary
The School Crossing Patrol Officer role involves safeguarding the community by ensuring children and others cross the road safely at a designated point during school start/end times. The position requires daily attendance at the patrol point during specified hours (roughly 08:20–09:15 and 14:50–15:25, 38 weeks/year), in all weather conditions, with training provided for crossing procedures. Desirable experience includes working with children and good road sense, with PVG scheme membership and annual health assessments as part of pre-employment checks.
