Job Summary
School Crossing Guard position at Congress Middle School. Responsibilities include stepping into streets to create safe gaps in traffic for students crossing, visually directing children, using a STOP paddle, and reporting unsafe conditions to school leadership. Work hours are 6:45-7:30 a.m. and/or 2:00-2:45 p.m. with options for morning, afternoon, or both; outdoor conditions apply with 50% walking and 50% standing in varied outdoor surfaces. The role requires wearing safety clothing and an identifiable school ID badge, and performing related duties as assigned, under supervision of the Principal or Assistant Principal.
