School Counselor

The School Counselor supports student success by delivering proactive guidance curriculum to individuals and groups, responding with proactive and preventive counseling and programming, reviewing transcripts for course placements and graduation planning, creating and maintaining graduation and career plans, delivering Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curricula, and maintaining Student 504 plans. The role involves analyzing student data to inform academic programs and interventions, and traveling within Ohio to support testing efforts and school events. Ideal candidates are bilingual (strongly preferred) and have a valid state school counselor license, a bachelor's degree with at least one year of counseling/advisement experience (or equivalent), experience with the ASCA model, K-12 online learning, knowledge of Local, State, and Federal laws and mandated reporting, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and the ability to pass background checks.
