School Counselor

Provide counseling for students' social-emotional development, including coping skills, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation; interpret assessments and aptitude tests; maintain superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication with students, families, and staff; collaborate with a diverse school community; understand warning signs of abuse/neglect and coordinate appropriate support; proficient use of Google Suite and CT-SEDs; contribute to a welcoming, collaborative district environment in Stonington Public Schools; hiring in the School Counselor role at Stonington High School; start date August 15, 2026; CT Certification required with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
