School Counselor

Develop and manage a comprehensive school counseling program by discussing initiatives with administrators, creating written plans based on state standards, and communicating goals to stakeholders. Deliver direct services through the guidance curriculum, individual student planning, and preventive and responsive services, including leading group activities, assisting students with academic and life goals, and providing counseling for identified concerns. Utilize data to monitor student performance, behavior, and attendance while conducting yearly program audits to guide direction. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community resources to interpret student data and implement effective referral processes. Serve on a 10-month term at Wagram and Sycamore Lane under the NC State Salary Schedule.
