Job Summary
School Counselor needed for MSAD 6 at H.B. Emery Elementary School for the 2026-2027 year. Responsibilities include contributing to and implementing the K-12 comprehensive school counseling plan to support academic, career, and social/emotional development, delivering small group counseling and classroom lessons, promoting student outcomes, and providing leadership within the district and community. Requires Master's Degree in School Counseling with supervised internship and practicum, plus Maine DOE certification (#075 endorsement), and demonstrated positive relationships with students and colleagues; candidate should show commitment to advocacy for students and families and to supporting school-age youth in post-secondary pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in School Counseling
- Maine Department of Education certification (content area #075 endorsement)
