Job Summary
Lead campus family engagement, social emotional learning, and mental health support by directing all staff on student persistence goals and managing data accuracy for reporting. Plan and execute parent events, administer biannual surveys, and analyze trends to drive action on retention and new student onboarding. Manage crisis response protocols, coordinate community resources, and ensure documentation compliance for interventions and critical incidents. Partner with grade-level teams to implement the Move This World curriculum and conduct regular observations to foster a safe, supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Valid TX School Counselor certification or counseling/social work licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-S, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT-A, LMFT)
- Belief in and alignment with IDEA's mission and values
- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
