Job Summary
The role centers on guiding students through academic planning, college/career readiness, and personal-social development, including crisis intervention, data-driven progress monitoring, and collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student outcomes. Responsibilities include counseling on course selection, scheduling, and post-secondary options; maintaining student records; addressing behavioral or social-emotional issues; and coordinating resources to ensure equitable access to education for all students. Requires a Master’s degree in counseling and a Colorado Special Service Provider license with School Counselor endorsement; bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Master’s Degree
- Master’s Degree in Counseling preferred
- 1+ years of related experience required
- Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with School Counselor endorsement required
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred
