Job Summary
School Counselor at Flex High School in Cleveland, OH. Responsible for implementing ASCA-aligned comprehensive school counseling program, focusing on academic, college/career, and social-emotional development; delivering direct student services and collaboration with stakeholders; leading equity initiatives and providing data-driven program evaluation; requires Master’s in School Counseling and Ohio Pupil Services License; 7:30 AM–3:00 PM, full-time, with potential travel between sites. Must engage in direct counseling with students, provide proactive supports, and coordinate with families and community resources to promote student success.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or field is required
- Valid Ohio Pupil Services License in School Counseling is required
- Experience with individual and group counseling sessions
- Experience working with at-risk student populations
- Experience with prevention, intervention, developmental, and crisis counseling
- Experience with college, community, and social/youth agency partnerships
- Use of data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Experience using student information databases or software applications
