Job Summary
The School Counselor for elementary students is responsible for establishing and evaluating the school-counseling program, providing individual and group counseling, consulting with students and staff, coordinating student services, interpreting test results, and adhering to ethical standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a Master’s degree in counseling, along with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate students. The candidate must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in counseling by the State of North Carolina.

- Licensure by the State of North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in counseling
